About Me
If you found yourself here, you must be the slightest bit curious about me. Here's my short story:
I was born in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1998. Since I received my first box of 64-count Crayola crayons (with the sharpener in the back), I knew I was going to design. I would arrange the crayons by color for easy use. I'd grab my plastic tray, set myself up on the couch, in front of the TV, and gently blend in my coloring books. I was always interested in whatever the arts provided me in school and was extra messy at home in my studio which was my bedroom. I may or may not have ruined a few of my mom's furniture pieces with my crazed painting. I attended 9 public schools before graduating from Western North Carolina University in 2021. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program and a minor in fine & performing arts.
I love telling the story of how I started my first design job in 2021. I graduated from WCU on a Saturday, Went to Vegas on Monday, San Fransisco on Friday, returned to my apartment at 2 am the next Monday, and went to work at 9 am the same morning. I was determined to start my career. I was an Interior Designer's Assistant in Highlands, NC for the next year. The Designer's focus was Kitchen and Bath Design. The work was mostly mountain cabin remodels. I went to my first High Point Market in the spring of 2022.
I then moved to Charlottesville, VA for a Junior Interior Designer position. I would be closer to my brothers too! I spent an amazing two years at an architecture firm where I was instilled with a lot of the knowledge that I use today. The scope and column of projects showed me that I was proficient in time management, coordination, and procurement. Working in high-end residential gave me an appreciation for the beauty of new construction and also to look into the past for inspiration.
I reflected on the past when I traveled. Seeing the design of the past reminds me that design should not be fashion-based but research-based. It is inspiring. I enjoy the research, programming, procurement, and of course the final product the most during the design process. There is a moment somewhere during this process where everything falls into place, the vision is revealed, and the puzzle is finished, that is the most satisfying part of this job.

I've learned a lot about myself through my art. This includes the motifs seen throughout my art and the classics that I am drawn to. When I am working monochromatically, I am drawn to animals. When I paint, I use a lot of emotions. When I am sketching it is typically light and airy. I enjoy all things being harmonious and being connected. Nothing is done without purpose.
I enjoy my days being by the pool or curled up on my couch with my cat watching TV. I like to cook and love to bake. I am an avid Pokemon Go player, bowler, shopper, and a regular at the movie theater.
I serve most of the East Coast in person and am also available by phone or email. Most of the services I have to offer are digital bookings or services that can be delegated through technology. I can help you evaluate your needs, edit your current items or designs, and help keep you organized through the process. This applies to weddings and any other design needs either for your home or event. Whether you're a Maximalist, a minimalist, or something in between, I can help you not only find your goals but execute them as well.
I started this company to assist those who may not have design awareness or knowledge at their fingertips. You could do all the research, but I want you to have the confidence to move forward with and finish your ideas with the utmost satisfaction. Push the limits of what you see.
